Tanzu Mission Control - Self Managed: Selected cluster for package installation is not showing up when the cluster group is not selected (a different cluster is showing up for package installation)

Issue/Introduction

When installing a package via TMC UI the selected cluster for package installation is not showing up when the cluster group is not selected.

 

A different cluster will show up for package installation.

 

Environment

Tanzu Mission Control - Self Managed 1.4.2

Cause

This is a defect of the Tanzu Mission Control user interface caused by a caching problem. 

Resolution

Workaround: Select cluster group" in "Cluster Group Filter (optional)" first and then the cluster name in "Available packages for cluster" for the package installation.

Engineering is working on a fix.
