Permission "Create a Shared Disk" is not being published to the tenant

Issue/Introduction

• Assigning/Delegating a "Create a Shared Disk" permission/right to a Role under Provider Portal > Administration > Tenant Access Control > Global Roles does not get published to the tenant
• The permission can be seen enabled for the Role in the Provider Portal but not in the Tenant Portal
• "Sharing Type" option is also not visible when creating a named disk in the Tenant Portal

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6

Cause

The same permission/right must first be published in the Default Rights Bundle under Provider Portal > Administration > Tenant Access Control > Rights Bundles > Default Rights Bundle

Resolution

1. Navigate to Provider Portal > Administration > Right Bundles > Select Default Rights Bundle > Enable the Permission and Publish to tenants.
2. Navigate to Provider Portal > Administration > Global Roles > Select Role > Enable the Permission and Publish to tenants.
