Issue/Introduction
Event xxxx : Issue detected on HOST in vSAN Cluster: hostd detected to be non-responsive
Using LOM (idrac or iLo) the below is observed.
Environment
VMware vSphere ESXi 7.x
VMware vSphere ESXi 8.x
Resolution
- To make sure that all objects in vSAN are healthy by running:
#localcli vsan debug object health summary get - And there are more two copies of the data on different hosts, for example, when a virtual machine is configured with the Number of failures to tolerate set to 1 (FTT = 1)
- Hard reset the problematic host
