Issue/Introduction

• Supervisor upgrade pre-checks in the Workload Management pane of the vCenter server fail with the following error:

  Network compatibility verified

  Etcd cluster health verified

  Supervisor Control Plane VMs health verified

  Datastore requirement verified

  Supervisor Service compatibility verified

  Workload cluster(s) compatibility verified

  Configuration error (since mm/dd/yyyy, hh:mm:ss PM/AM)

  A general system error occurred. Error message: Proposed upgrade to Namespaces cluster domain-xxxxxx is incompatible with one or more Tanzu Kubernetes cluster(s).

  Namespace: [Napp_Cluster_Namespace], Cluster: [Napp_Cluster_Name], Message: "Supervisor Cluster does not support Tanzu Kubernetes cluster requirement TKGController for receiver vmware.com/gccontroller.

Cause

Resolution

• Upgrade the NAPP (NSX Application Platform) cluster to a supported TKC version with the Supervisor referring to the document Upgrade the NSX Application Platform.
