Issue/Introduction

Would like to generate a report that includes the average run time for every job submitted by ESP.  

Environment

Component: Workload Automation ESP
Release: All supported releases

Resolution

Below is a batch job you can use to produce a history report. This job will display average run time of jobs that are submitted by ESP.

//STEP1 EXEC PGM=ESP,PARM='SUBSYS(????) MASTER'  ==> this is your esp subsys name           
//STEPLIB  DD DISP=SHR,DSN=ESP.CD7YLOAD   ==> your loadlib if not link listed
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*                                     
//SYSIN DD *
REPORT                                                
 HISTFILE HIST1                                       
 CRITERIA JOBNAME EQ '-' AND ESPSUB EQ 'YES'  ==> Jobs submitted by ESP        
 DISPLAY JOBNAME JOBNO APPLSYS APPLGEN CMPC WOBTYPE - 
 EXECST ENDDATE ENDT AVGRUNT ESPSUB                   
 SORT WOBTYPE                                         
 BREAK JOBNAME 8 EJECT SUBTOTAL                       
 ENDR
