Issue/Introduction

  • vSphere Replication Plugin fails to load
  • Fails with error "A server error occurred"

 

Environment

  • VMware Live Site Recovery 9.x
  • VMware Site Recovery Manager 8.x
  • vSphere Replication 9.x
  • vSphere Replication 9.x

Cause

The issue occurs when the connection to the Platform Services Controller resolves to a stale PSC.

/var/log/vmware/websso.log on the vCenter server has the below entries:

Resolution

Decommission the old stale PSC using KB
