audit probe settings are not sticking in audit configuration

Issue/Introduction

Set auditing on robots tied to the primary hub and when going back into the audit configuration, they are no longer selected.

Environment

• UIM 23.4
• audit probe

Cause

This can happen if the robot.cfg was set to audit = 6 independent of the audit probe, and the hub > settings configuration had audit on selected.

Resolution

• stop the nimbus robot watcher on the primary hub
• backup the hub.cfg
• remove the 'audit = ' from the hub section of the hub.cfg
• start the nimbus robot watcher on the primary hub
• open audit and verify the ability to turn on, save and retain the settings on a robot

If the robot still does not retain you may need to follow these steps as well:

• stop the nimbus robot watcher on the robot in question
• make a backup of the robot.cfg
• remove the 'audit = #'  line from the robot.cfg
• start the nimbus robot watcher
• verify that the audit probe will allow the retention of the audit settings for this robot
