Issue/Introduction

vGPU VMs that reference a physical NVIDIA Blackwell GPU cannot power on because the vmx process fails.

Error: The amount of graphics resource available in the parent resource pool is insufficient for the operation.

Environment

GPU Model: NVIDIA Blackwell series
Host: ESXi 8.0.x

Cause

This is a known issue affecting ESXi 8.0 U3f and earlier.

Resolution

Kindly update the ESXi host to  8.0 U3g or later to resolve the issue.
