URL in alert notification emails no longer navigate directly to the event id

Issue/Introduction

When clicking on the URL link from the email notification generated by a Carbon Black Cloud alert, it doesn't redirect properly to the specific alert, observation, or event. Instead it opens the default Investigate page.

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: Before September 18th, 2025
• Alert email notifications enabled

Cause

Migration issues for the Carbon Black Cloud backend between AWS and GCP affected the template details of the notifications alerts, specifically the URL formatting.

Resolution

EDRPC-2779 contains the fix that was deployed on September 18th, 2025 to fix the URL format in the alert notification templates.
