Issue/Introduction

Running SiteMinder Policy Server or AdminUI, it may occur a failure in the processing with the following Java exception:

Could not initialize class com.netegrity.smkeydatabase.db.revocation.OCSPResponderHandler

Resolution

This issue often has the same cause when appearing in different operations or components:

1. In the Policy Server traces: 
   
   Could not initialize class com.netegrity.smkeydatabase.db.revocation.OCSPResponderHandler in Policy Server as OIDC Provider
   
   
2. In the AdminUI traces and in the browser:
   
   Could not initialize class com.netegrity.smkeydatabase.db.revocation.OCSPResponderHandler in AdminUI exporting Partnership Metadata
