Size Selection Unavailable When Scaling Aria Operations for Networks Collector by LCM

Issue/Introduction

When trying to scale out Aria Operations for Networks from Lifecycle Manager, the option to choose the size is not available and is grayed out.

Environment

Lifecycle Manager 8.18.1

Resolution

This can be resolved by bypassing the LCM UI and deploying the additional collector nodes directly through the Lifecycle Manager API.

API Endpoint Used:
POST /lcm/lcops/api/v2/environments/{environmentId}/products/{productId}/nodes

By using the API, the vrniNodeSize property could be explicitly defined as "large", which is not available in the UI.
