Trap processing failing

Issue/Introduction

When trap is sent, it is not received by Trap Exploder (TE) or Trap Adapter (TA), however process is listening on specific port, no firewall (iptables and firewalld) is inactive. 

Environment

Smarts - 10.1.x/24.3.x

Cause

nftables was active which is blocking port 161 hence TE did not receive traps triggered. 

Resolution

Turn off nftables service or work with server team to open ports in nftables.

It can be stopped as:

Systemctl stop nftables
