LCMVRNICONFIG90045 error on Inventory sync for Aria Operations for Networks fails in Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager

Issue/Introduction

  • When integrating Aria Operations for Networks into Aria Lifecycle Manager, you may keep get an error about user/pass not valid, despite having validated the user/pass for both Lifecyle and Networks and being able to login to the GUI with that user/pass.
  • Inventory synchronization for Aria Operations for Networks in Aria Suite Lifecycle fails with the following error:

    Error Code: LCMVRNICONFIG90045
    Failed to get CSRF token for VMware Aria Operations for Networks. Validate if the IP Address, credentials are correct and all services are running.

  • This occurs when Aria Operations for Networks is imported into Aria Suite Lifecycle with a user other than admin@local.

Environment

Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.18

Cause

Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager uses the  default administrator user admin@local for inventory sync with Aria Operations for Networks.

Therefore, integrating or importing Aria Operations for Networks with a user other than admin@local, results in the LCMVRNICONFIG90045 error occurs during inventory sync.

Resolution

When integrating Aria Suite Lifecycle with Aria Operations for Networks, use admin@local, which is the default administrator user for Aria Operations for Networks.
