CEIP "Internet Connection Status" Always Shows as Connected in Offline Environments

Issue/Introduction

Even in environments without internet connectivity, the CEIP (Customer Experience Improvement Program) "Internet Connection Status" may still show as "Connected" or "Connecting."

Environment

vCenter Server 7.0

vCenter Server 8.0

Cause

This behavior is limited to the display only.

Resolution

Since this is a cosmetic issue, it can be safely ignored without any impact.
