Issue/Introduction

How do I change Applications Manager SMTP server settings?

Resolution

SMTP Server settings can be changed by updating 2 settings:

1. Edit the $AW_HOME/site/awenv.ini or %AW_HOME%\site\awenv.ini (Windows OS) file and update the below values:
   
   Smtp_host=example.coim
   Smtp_port=25
   [email protected]
   
   
2. Edit the Email settings within the master's agent object definition:
   
   Select Object Admin > Administration > Agents > Edit Master's Agent > select Email tab
   
   SMTP settings can be changed within this Email tab window

A restart to Applications Manager is required for changes to the awenv.ini file.
