Issue/Introduction

Extra/stale adapter is showing in Configurations -> Inventory Management -> Adapter Instances. It can not be removed from the integrations page as it is not present there.

Environment

Aria Operations 18.8.x

Resolution

Use swagger UI to remove the stale adapter

1. From Aria Operations UI navigate to  Configurations -> Inventory Management -> Adapter Instances

2. Locate the stale adapter that you wish to delete and obtain its adapter ID

It may be necessary to add the ID column

3. Open the Swagger UI https://<VROPS URL>/suite-api/

4. Under Adapters select GET using adapterID. Then select the "Try it out" option . Use the ID obtained in step 2 in the adapterID text box and carefully review what is returned to make sure this is the desired adapter.

Note: If you get the error "The provided token for auth scheme \"OpsToken\" is either invalid or has expired." Then select "Authorize" from the top right hand side, and logout, and re-login.

5. Once you have verified the Adapter ID with GET select DELETE  "Try it out" and then enter in the previously obtained adapterID to remove the desired adapter.
