If an administrator disables the ServiceNow Change Validation step inside a release (e.g., unchecking
the corresponding box to bypass the validation), does an automatic email notification is sent to the audit
team?
Is this kind of alerting mechanism is currently supported in CDD?
Continuous Delivery Director - 8.7 version
- To check if a task was disabled or removed by editing the release, no email notification is sent.
You should look for this event in the release activities panel or the activity log.
- If a SNOW verification task is skipped during release execution, an email notification will be
triggered to the owners as listed in the Notification Management and Parameters section of
documentation (Task skipped).
