Issue/Introduction

Problem:

After visiting restricted portlet, editing any other portlet ends up with System Error

Any portlet (except the ones of type restricted) shows as system error when you edit it, after you have edited a restricted one

Steps to reproduce:

1.Login to CA PPM

2.Go to Admin -> Studio -> Portlet

3.Edit any portlet (except restricted type)

         Ex: Actuals by Transaction Type (PMO one) or Allocation Discrepancy (OOTB)

4.The portlet opens correctly as expected.

5.Now edit any restricted type portlet

         Ex: Action Items

6.Edit again any portlet other than restricted type

 

Expected Result: The portlet shows correctly

Actual Result: It throws a system error and if you try to do any changes you get redirected to the restricted portlet you edited before

 

Cause:               

Caused by CLRT-79588.

 

Resolution:

This issue is targeted to be fixed in the Armstrong release, that is the next Major release after CA PPM 14.3.
