Issue/Introduction

Question:

If the SDM(Software Delivery Manager) is executed on a TSO terminal, the ISPV009 ISPF error message appears and the SDM can not be executed.   How should I do?

Answer:

When the SDM(Software Delivery Manager) is executed on a TSO terminal with specific terminal types (For example 3278KN), the ISPV009 ISPF error message may appear and the SDM may not be executed.

To resolve the problem:

1. Select "ISPF PARMS" (option "0") in the ISPF session on the TSO terminal to display the "ISPF SETTINGS" screen.

2. Set the parameter number of the "3278" (which is probably "3") to the "TERMINAL TYPE" on the ""ISPF SETTINGS" screen.

3. Press PF3 key to save the settings, and return to TSO command screen and rerun the SDM.

This problem may occur on the TSO terminal that uses DBCS codes.
