Issue/Introduction

ASM OPMS - SElinux=Permissive takes a lot longer (upto 20 mins) to restart OPMS services. We have high (150) number of jmeter instances running. Changing SElinux=Disabled reduces it significantly (from 20 mins to 7-8 minutes). However, Disabling Selinux is not recommended by our unix team as it imposes security risk. 

Resolution

1. Create a file /etc/containers/containers.conf if it does not exist.into the file, add the following:

2. [containers]label = false

3. asm-installer stop
4. asm-installer start

Additional Information

SElinux=Permissive may increase logging.
