Obsolete Java version with Web Agent Option Pack (WAOP)

Issue/Introduction

Running Web Agent Option Pack with the JVM 1.8.0_151 64 bit.

As this JVM version is old and subject to some security breaches, to which version can it be upgraded?

Resolution

As per the Support Matrix, since September 2019, Web Agent Option Pack has been tested and it's supported with AdoptOpenJDK 1.8.x (1).

Note also that the Web Agent Option Pack support is related to the Web Application Server like Tomcat, WebLogic, etc.

So said, the JVM version depends on the Web Application Server which is in use with the Web Agent Option Pack.

The first column called "Application Server" shows all the types of Web Application Server and the "Version" column shows the Web Application Server version supported with the Web Agent Option Pack.
