Per the proactive upgrade KB, one of the steps is to walk through validating the health of Aria Automation or Orchestrator by following commands from this KB.
You would like to generate a health report of Aria Automation or Orchestrator to provide to Broadcom support when opening a proactive upgrade SR.
Resolution
This article provides a VMware Aria Orchestrator workflow package to generate a health check report for your Aria Automation and Orchestrator cluster.
After running the workflow, download the generated output file and attach it when opening a proactive upgrade service request with Broadcom Support.
Part 1: Importing the Health Check Package
Download the workflow package file (.package) attached to this article.
(Optional) Verify the checksum of the downloaded package to confirm its integrity by following the steps in KB 387116.
Import the package into VMware Aria Orchestrator by following the official documentation: Import a Package.
Once imported, the workflow will be available in the Workflows tab under the HealthCheck-Workflows directory, or by searching for its name, "Aria Automation and Orchestrator Health Check Report".
Part 2: Running the Workflow
Run the "Aria Automation and Orchestrator Cluster Health Check" workflow. In the Nodes tab, enter the FQDN or IP address for each node in your cluster.
In the Authentication tab, select the appropriate authentication method and provide the necessary credentials (e.g., root username and password).
Click the Run button to execute the workflow.
After the workflow finishes, navigate to the Logs tab of the workflow run. Select Actions > Download to save the log file.
Upload the downloaded log file when creating a new service request with Broadcom Support.
