How can I remove bulk devices from Performance Management

Issue/Introduction

I am trying to prune down our monitored device count and would like to delete devices, how can I accomplish this via the Portal GUI?

Resolution

You can utilize the Monitored Devices page in the Portal UI to accomplish this.

1. Click the left of the two icons

2. Enter your search terms (make them as unique as possible to only target your intended devices)

3. Either select specific devices or select the select all checkbox

4. Right click and choose delete

WARNING: Deleting these will completely remove the device and all historical data.  The ONLY way to recover them is to reload a Vertica database save from before this is done.
