404 error editing 2FA configuration on the Users page

Issue/Introduction

When trying to enable Two-Factor Authentication in Carbon Black Cloud, the administrator sees the error:

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: All versions
• Carbon Black Cloud Sensors: All versions

Cause

Carbon Black Cloud underwent a migration to Broadcom Authhub as described in the Carbon Black Cloud AuthHub Migration FAQ.

Resolution

• During this time, the current authentication setting will continue to work; however, any changes to the two-factor authentication OR disabling / reenabling of two-factor authentication will not work.
• Carbon Black Support cannot re-enable two-factor authentication settings if it was accidentally disabled, so a Support case will be required to complete the migration to Broadcom Authhub authentication.
