Management Center Sorting Issue Within Folders

Issue/Introduction

When sorting inside a folder (Name, Type, Description, Last Edited, Latest Author, Status) in Management Center (MC) > Configuration > Policy Objects or Shared Objects, the MC doesn't sort the files included in the folder. Instead, the MC populates all policy object files or shared object files outside of the current folder and sorts all of them.

The same sorting issue doesn't appear in Scripts, Tenants, Files, or Certificates under MC > Configuration.

Environment

MC version 3.3 and 4.1

Cause

The policy and shared object have no column sort capability within a folder.

Resolution

It is working as per design. There is no column sort within the folder view for the policy object and shared object. There is only policy search. All the column headers will search the entire policies, not the current folder only. A feature request has been made.
