Creating and managing monitoring configurations for hundreds or thousands of devices or resources is a time-consuming task. The Monitoring Configuration Service (MCS) streamlines this process by allowing  administrators of DX Unified Infrastructure Management (DX UIM) and authorized users to build reusable configuration profiles. These profiles can be applied concurrently to hundreds—or even thousands—of target devices. This eliminates the need for repetitive manual setup and  significantly reduces time needed to deploy or adjust monitoring.

The MCS Quick Start Guide was designed to meet the needs of monitoring administrators who are just beginning to use MCS for configuration, especially in large environments which require a flexible web interface for deploying monitoring configuration across a multitude of IT environments.
