Opsman - Failing to rotate certs with this error - Error: Action Failed get_task: Task xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxx result: Stopping Monitored Services: Stopping services '[opsman-cert-expiration-exporter]' errored

Resolution

In the support bundle, the cert-expiration-exporter/xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxx is in stopped state as seen below

Restarting this VM cert-expiration-exporter/xxxxxxxx and make sure it is running and then do apply changes, that resolved the issue

bosh -d p-healthwatch2-pas-exporter-xxxxxxxx restart cert-expiration-exporter/xxxxxxxx
