Issue/Introduction

An attempt to resize the instance does not complete successfuly.

Environment

7.x

Cause

The size of the disk in the flavor is smaller than the size of the disk. 

 

Resolution

• Openstack does not support shrinking the root volume
• Create a new instance and migrate the data.
