Issue/Introduction

Users observe upon logging into vCenter UI triggers multiple browser tabs to open, referencing vRealize or Aria, despite no such plugins being installed.

  • The issue occurs across multiple browsers.

  • Behavior does not occur in private/incognito browsing mode, indicating a browser-side caching issue.

Resolution

Note: If the vRealize/Aria plugin is installed, refer to KB 380448 - vRealize/Aria Plugin Causing Multiple Tabs to Open

If the plugin is not installed and multiple tabs continue to open in vCenter, please follow the below mentioned steps:

    1. Sign out of vCenter and close the browser.

    2. Reopen the browser.

    3. Clear the browser cache following the instructions for your browser:
