vSphere Cluster shows vSphere DRS functionality impacted

Issue/Introduction

• Following error is displayed inside 'Summary' of cluster:
  
  
  

  "vSphere DRS functionality was impacted due to unhealthy state vSphere Cluster Services caused by the unavailability of vSphere Cluster Service VMs."

Environment

Cause

vCLS VMs are not correctly deployed or are powered off  (Manual Power on is not possible)

Resolution

1. Enable "Retreat mode" using the following instructions for the affected cluster(s)
2. Wait for the VMs to be deleted automatically (It may take a couple of minutes)
3. Disable "Retreat mode" using the same method
4. Wait for the VMs to be redeployed automatically (It may take a couple of minutes)
