How to view the Cynic or Advanced Threat Incidents in Email Security Cloud

Issue/Introduction

An Cynic or Advanced Threat incident is a database record that is generated for each email message that includes malware. One database record is generated for each email message, regardless of the number of recipients.

This Incidents page displays the critical, high, and medium severity incidents that were detected within the past 30 days. If a message includes more than one malicious attachment, the information for each attachment appears in a separate row in the Incidents table.

On the Incidents page, click anywhere on an incident row to open its detailed record view. A new tab displays detailed information about the selected message and its attachments, if any.

To view Cynic or Advanced Threat Incidents :

• Navigate to Dashboard > Reports > Incidents > Advanced Threat Incidents
• Select Date Range(maximum is past 30 days)
