"Retrieving available bundles failed" is observed at Bundle Management page on SDDC Manager

Issue/Introduction

  • Error "Retrieving available bundles failed" is observed with below message in Bundle Management:
    Encountered fetching http://127.0.0.1/lcm/inventory/upgrades.api - Target VCF version 5.2.1.0 is lower than source VCF version 5.2.2.0

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 5.x

Cause

This issue occurs if a "Planned Patching" task is set for SDDC target version is lower than the current VCF version

Resolution

 

  1. In the navigation pane, click Inventory > Workload Domains.
  2. On the Workload Domains page, click the domain you are upgrading and then click the Updates tab.
  3. In the Available Updates section,  select Cancel Upgrade Plan from the Actions menu to cancel an upgrade plan.

Additional Information

This issue may also occur if a "Planned Patching" task is set for SDDC version 5.2.1.0, while the environment is already running version 5.2.2.0. Please cancel the planned patching on the Workload/Management domain.
