Issue/Introduction

This knowledge base ( KB ) article provide details of migrating VIP Enterprise gateway running on Windows server in Nutanix to VMware.

Environment

VIP Enterprise Gateway

Release : 9.11

Resolution

Follow the below instructions to migrate the VIP EG from one environment to another.

• Take a backup of the current settings using the Export feature (export instructions). 
• Install the VIP Enterprise gateway on the new server created.
• Use the import option to import the configurations.
• SSL and VIP certificates are not exported and must be installed manually on the new VIP Enterprise Gateway install before importing VIP EG data.
