Issue/Introduction

Upon rebooting the worker node after an outage, the node is booted into Maintenance Mode.

After trying to restore the node via KB Manual filesystem check for Aria Operations 8.x, the node is restored and booted up.

However, the loginsight config file and the entire Cassandra folder is missing.

Environment

Aria Operations for Logs 8.x

Cause

The vSAN outage may have caused data corruption on the worker node.  The File System check corrected the data corruption, but some of the files and folders may have been removed during the fix.  The files and folders may also have been deleted due to the vSAN issue.

Resolution

Reference the following KB to redeploy a new worker node and import the old ingested data to the new node:  Replace a node in an Aria Operations for Logs cluster
