Issue/Introduction

Spectrum does not support standalone database intead of embedded MySQL

Environment

All supported DX NetOps Spectrum releases

Cause

The SpectroSERVER component, which is the core of Spectrum's object-oriented database, relies on its locally installed database and does not support an external DB. 

Resolution

Spectrum does not support standalone database.
