Issue/Introduction

Customer unable to unmount CDROM from the VM > Edit settings 

Environment

vCenter 7.x

vCenter 8.x

ESXi 7.x

ESXi 8.x

Cause

Customer unable to answer the pop up question on the vCenter-UI after unchecking the connected state from the VM > edit-setting > CDROM uncheck connected 

•  Upon uncheck connected option from the VM edit-setting customer did not manage to answer the pop question display on the vCenter-UI
• 

Resolution

a. Choose the VM > edit-settings > CDROM uncheck connected state > after click OK this will pop up question from the vCenter-UI

b. Answer the question
