Issue/Introduction

  • The VCF instance, deployed using the "VCF instance in an existing VCF fleet" option, is facing issue while validating adapter on VCF Operations Cloud Proxy.
  • The adapter (VCF Operations >> Administration >> Integrations) fails to validate when using the faulty cloud proxy, returning the error:

"Bad request: please verify the request parameters or credentials."

  • The following entries are found in "/storage/log/vcops/log/collector.log":

ERROR collector 11639 [ops@4413 threadId="194" threadName="Collector worker thread 13"] [(619) com.integrien.alive.common.adapter3.AdapterBase.collect] - Collect threw an exception: com.vmware.ops.api.client.exceptions.AuthException: Unauthorized

at com.vmware.ops.api.client.internal.RestClientProxy.acquireToken(RestClientProxy.java:270) ~[vcops-suiteapi-client-2.0.jar:?]

Environment

  • VMware Cloud Foundation Operations 9.0

Cause

A reboot during the first boot of the Cloud Proxy interrupted its initialization, causing it to be partially configured.

Resolution
