VIDM settings on NSX manager is failed for External Load Balancer

Issue/Introduction

Configure an external load balancer to distribute traffic to the NSX Managers in a manager cluster.

While configuring the VIDM configuration on the NSX Manager getting below error :-

• The given NSX Appliance hostname should either match the Manager's IP address/hostname or VIP address/hostname. (Error Code : 36533)

Cause

The issue occurred because the hostname entered in the VDIM configuration was being validated against the NSX Manager directly, instead of the Load Balancer VIP. By enabling the External Load Balancer option, NSX correctly recognizes that the traffic should go through the Load Balancer VIP, which makes the hostname validation pass and resolves the error

Resolution

This issue is  resolved after enabling the check box for External Load Balancer Integration.
