Issue/Introduction
- You are upgrading NSX Manager
- You are attempting to upload the pub file to NSX Manager.
- Once the file is selected, NSX Manager throws error:
File name does not conform to the expected format. Please remove extra characters such as brackets and try again
Environment
VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.x
Cause
NSX-T 3.x supports only the .mub file.
.pub files were added to the upgrade workflow in later releases (VMware NSX 4.x)
Resolution
Please use the .mub file to start the upgrade of the VMware NSX-T Data Center.
