CloudHealth New Experience: Realized Savings Commitment Savings report and Negotiated Discounts

Issue/Introduction

Within CloudHealth New Experience within the Realized Savings -> Commitment Savings report you'll find the savings provided by Spend based Commitment discounts, and Resource based Commitment discounts currently. 

You'll note that the values returned in this report do not always align with the Reports -> Cost -> Savings -> EC2 Savings from RIs (Resource based Commitment discounts) and EC2 Savings from SPs (Resource based Commitment discounts).

Resolution

This discrepancy is due to the EC2 Savings report measures EC2 Savings from RIs, and EC2 Savings from SPs taking into account negotiated discounts such as Enterprise Discount Program discounts (also known as negotiated discounts), while the Commitment Savings report doesn't take any negotiated discounts into account currently. 

Within Realized Savings only the realized savings top level report will take into account negotiated discounts -
