Issue/Introduction

In the ntp_response probe when we add a profile using the configure option and disable some metrics or alarms its not getting updated in the configuration file.

Example, we disabled NTP Server Last Sync Offset and saved it. But we are receiving an alarm for this.

Environment

  • DX UIM CU3
  • ntp_response v1.44

Resolution

he PPM-23.4.3.1 probe has been attached to this case which includes the NTP response configuration fix.

These changes will be officially included in the upcoming 23.4 CU6 release.

  1. Download the PPM-23.4.3.1
  2. Import it into your local package archive
  3. Deploy the PPM-23.4.3.1 on the Primary robot

This fix resolves the ntp_response configuration update issue of disabling some metrics or alarms.
