Issue/Introduction

The PSOD Dashboard is a component of the ESX dashboard report. This feature uses a new esxcli command to capture the most recent PSOD stacktrace along with 20 vmkernel log lines preceding the PSOD. 

For reference the esxcli command the host dashboard uses is: “esxcli system health report get -r vmw.PSODCheck”

In addition to the PSOD information and log lines, the PSOD dashboard will also analyze the coredump partition and check for configuration status and free space. 

Below is a screenshot of the PSOD section under ESX dashboard.

When clicking on “View Details” you will see a breakdown of the most recent PSOD and recent logs. 

You will also have the ability to see the PSOD event history over the last 14 days.
