How do we use AppNeta's PathTest to measure bandwidth of a remote site?

Issue/Introduction

We're trying to measure performance of a remote location, but the location does not have an AppNeta Monitoring Point deployed. 

Cause

For PathTest, you can test using UDP and TCP, but the remote target must be an AppNeta Monitoring Point or a AppNeta Global Monitoring Target.
However for PathTest using ICMP, the target does not need to be a Monitoring Point or an AppNeta Global Monitoring Target, as long as it responds to ICMP.

Resolution

For example, below you can see we performed a short test to the demo.pm.appneta.com URL, which replies to ICMP:

 

We can see the target was able to respond to our ICMP test, and we can see the results in the image above.
