Issue/Introduction

Question: 

When using persistent cookies from a long period of time, how to change the settings on the Agent configuration object(ACO) when you need to change persistent cookies to transient cookies, Is this a process that involves agent-by-agent over the course of months or must it all be done on all our agent configuration objects at about the same time?

Web Agent version: Any version

Answer: 

When switching from persistent to transient cookies, you can either change the ACO parameters one after another in a period of time or you can change the ACO parameters at about the same time because the agent code does not care whether a cookie presented to it is persistent or not and does not require different settings to accept either.
