Issue/Introduction

When trying to use the new feature in 8.8. In copy file task you can specify tokens in the source of UNC path.

Currently %MODELNUMBER% token does not resolve to a value but leaves itself blank

When you specify another folder after the token the task will fail with access to path \\ServerName\\FolderinTokenfolder

If you do not specify anything after the token the task will complete but will copy all from the root of the token folder

Environment

ITMS 8.8

Cause

After checking the Task Server to where the client machine was registered it was found that Deployment Task Sever Handler was not upgraded to version 8.8 and was still on version 8.7.3

This Token is being replaced on Task Server, and this feature was introduced in version 8.8 meaning previous version DSTS will not manage it correctly

Resolution

Upgraded DSTS plugin on the affected task server
