How to apply CA DADS Plus for CICS fixes?
Instructions:
CA DADS Plus for CICS r 4.0 is not CSM (Chorus software manger) compatible. CA DADS Plus for CICS was functionally stabilized 9-21-2012. There are no plans at this time(October 2016) to END OF LIFE CA DADS Plus for CICS and certification to support new CICS levels and Z/OS levels have continued. But since the product is functionally stabilized no new development – new features will be added to the product. So CA DADS Plus for CICS DADS will not be enhanced to be CSM compatible.
All the DADS Plus for CICS r 4.0 fixes are located on the CA web site SUPPORT.CA.COM and the latest fixes are load module replacements. Since they are load module replacements the fixes cannot be applied using CSM.

Before you add the CA DADS Plus for CICS r 4.0 fixes to your download cartridge you will need to view the description of each fix to review the instructions on how to apply the fix. Most of the recent fixes contain a binary file that contains the load modules to be replaced and a .TXT file that contains the SMP/E control statements.
