Issue/Introduction

With VMware Cloud Foundation Operations orchestrator plug-in for VMware Live Site Recovery , you can use VMware Cloud Foundation Operations orchestrator  to automate the creation of your VMware Live Site Recovery infrastructure to manage resource mappings between sites, configure protection groups and recovery plans, add virtual machines to protection groups, configure recovery settings of virtual machines, and run recoveries.In VMware Live Site Recovery, the connection status will appear as Error if a connection to the VMware Cloud Foundation Operations Orchestrator is not established.

Connecting VLSR to the cloud requires a VCF SDDC setup; otherwise, the connection will fail with an error "VMware Live Site Recovery displays errors that VMware Live Site Recovery functionality is deactivated.

 

 

Environment

VMware Live Site Recovery 9.0.3

Cause

This error occurs if the VCF SDDC is not setup.

Resolution

The cloud connection can be disconnected through the VMware Live Recovery VAMI if access to VLSR from the VCF SDDC is not required.
