Unable to replace SSL certificate for Aria Operations for Logs through Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager

Issue/Introduction

• Attempting to replace the SSL certificate for Aria Operations for Logs through Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager fails with error code LCMVRLISYSTEM45040
• Unable to login Aria Operations for Logs primary node and/or one of the worker node(s) directly

Environment

Aria Operations for Logs 8.x
Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.x

Cause

The Aria Operations for Logs primary node and/or one of the worker node(s) is unresponsive

Resolution

Reboot the Aria Operations for Logs node to bring it back online

Ensure the Aria Operations for Logs cluster and Cassandra is healthy by running the following command on all nodes

nodetool-no-pass status

 

If you encounter cluster health and/or Cassandra issues after powering up the unresponsive node perform the following steps: 

1. Power down all the nodes in the Aria Operations for Logs cluster
2. Power on the primary node and wait until blue Aria Operations for Logs splash screen is seen in vSphere console
3. Power on all remaining worker nodes
4. Verify the Aria Operations for Logs UI is available (can take up to 20 minutes after all nodes are powered on)
