UIM metric viewer has missing data for collected metrics

Issue/Introduction

The UIM Metric Viewer is intermittently displaying missing metrics.  The metrics will display at some point in time, but depending upon the time frame of the report, different metrics will be visible or missing.  

Exporting the data from the metric viewer may also show unexpected jumps in the date/timestamp:

When sorted by date/timestamp, they will also show these unexpected values in between actual data collection intervals.
 

Environment

• UIM 23.4.CU4 and CU5
• OC 23.4.CU4 and CU5

Cause

A defect has been identified that is causing this.

Resolution

Hotfixes have been provided to address this.  These are attached to this article.  To deploy the hotfix, follow the below steps:

1. Download the appropriate hotfix for your version:
   • For Operator Console 23.4CU4, use ump_operatorconsole-23.4.4.3.zip
   • For Operator Console 23.4CU5, use ump_operatorconsole-23.4.5.1.zip
2. Add the patch to the Archive. It will appear as ump_operatorconsole with version 23.4.4.3 or 23.4.5.1 depending upon which version you are using.
3. Deploy the patch to the Operator Console robot.
   • This should restart Operator Console and the wasp probe
4. When the wasp probe is back up, log into Operator Console and test to confirm that the issue is resolved.
