This issue can occur if your VIP Enterprise Gateway environment is migrated from another environment, settings were imported from another machine, or the server was assigned new IP address. The Validation server does not start and failed with error Port <port Number> is already in use. Please use a different port.
Note: Change the port number if it is already assigned to another Validation Server.
Reset the Validation Server by clicking the Edit link, then simply click on Submit button without making any changes. This process forces a reload of the configuration. Attempt to restart the Validation Server.
